3D ultrasound, or sonogram, is an imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of a baby in the uterus.  At 3D BabyVision - 3D Ultrasound Mississauga and Oakville, we start conducing ultrasound during the first trimester to confirm and date the pregnancy (between 18 and 20 weeks) for gender determination— when anatomic details are visible. Precious keepsake 3D ultrasound photos are usually recommended between 26 and 32 weeks for optimal results.
